Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ:
It has been a long week for most of us!
Even though none (that I know) in our parish suffer from contracting the Corona virus, we all suffer with people all over the world because of the Corona virus pandemic. And we do not know how much longer before we can go back to normal life.
The world has changed upside down because of those tiny organisms which can’t be seen by our own eyes. We can’t go to school, work and do other activities together, and most importantly, we can’t participate in Mass. As Catholic Christians, we’re hungry for the Lord in the Holy Eucharist. Yet, we have to remember that our loving God can also work beyond and outside of the sacrament as well.
Friends, make the best of the situation by:
Remember that our earthly life is short and fragile. We need to depend on our mighty and loving God.
Thanks to those who mail your tithing (collection) to the office. Although we can’t get together for Mass for the time being, we appreciate your help to pay the bills.
Thanks to the men’s group for stepping up and offering to help those in need especially those elderly in our parish who can’t help themselves for groceries.
I am remembering you all in my private Masses.
Love in Christ,
Fr. Vincent Phan
